In 1992, Tudor Oaks Farm began to acquire one of the most select groups of champion Haflingers ever assembled on one farm. It purchased its first fillies at the 1992 auction at Ebbs in Austria, the world's largest and most prestigious Haflinger breeding and sales facility. In 1993 they purchased two stallions, Aristocrat TOF, son of the World Haflinger Federation's Grand Champion stallion, 'Afghan 11' and Stars 'N Stripes TOF, son of the top ST-line stallion, 'Strumer'.
Aristocrat TOF has exceeded all expectations, by winning the National Grand Champion Stallion title, by siring numerous National Grand Champions, and by classifying "Gold" at his inspection with 81.7 points. He is the only “Proven, Elite” stallion in North America; titles awarded to him through the results of the inspection of his offspring through the years.
Stars 'N Stripes TOF is established as a good filly sire, producing 60% fillies. He also has several sons competing in upper-level Combined Driving and Dressage, including USDF All-Breeds Award winner “Star Wars TOF”. Stars ‘N Stripes TOF was awarded the prestigious Silver ribbon at his inspection in 2002.
A third young stallion, Nobleman of Tudor Oaks, was imported in 1995 and began his first breeding season in 1996. This outstanding son of the famous Austrian stallion, 'Nabucco' sold out his bookings on his first season in record time. Nobleman of Tudor Oaks has since been sold to Holland, but frozen semen is available exclusively through Tudor Oaks Farm.
More important bloodlines have steadily been imported to North America through Tudor Oaks Farm. "Neumeister TOF" is the tall, athletic son of the famous Tirolian champion "Nordtirol", out of the elite mare "Mon Amour." He has the prestigious honor of having been the winner of the Tirolian Stallion Keuring at Ebbs, Austria in 2002.
In 2007, Tudor Oaks arranged to distribute frozen semen from two famous Tirolian bred, German owned stallions: Anthony (Amadeus X LaReina), the 2005 World Reserve Champion Stallion, and Notting Hill (Nabucco X Riva), the 2007 Reserve Champion Stallion of the Tirolian 60th Anniversary Stallion Show. Limited semen is still available for these two special stallions.
In 2008, Tudor Oaks will be additionally offering two exciting new young stallions. A spectacular son of Notting Hill, “Nottings No Limit”, and the first new “B-line” stallion in many years, Benetton HHWA, will be offered to a limited number of mares, with special consideration given to inspected mares.
